HOW TO DESIGN AN UTTERLY BORING AND GENERIC CHARACTER!
STEP 1: POWERS
Your character must prove that he is the coolest thing that has ever been made since sliced bread by having the best powers. After all, nobody likes Batman, Superman could kick his sorry ass!
Start by thinking up the most powerful attack you can imagine, like creating a huge WAVE of LAVA. Then make a few weaker ones of the same type, like fireballs and volcanoes and so on. This will show his awesome style. Don't worry about working out where he got his powers from, or how they work, the audience doesn't really care about the details, just your totally baddass character and how powerful he is. If anyone calls your character a god mod, DENY IT LIKE THE FIST OF THE NORTH STAR.
STEP 2: APPEARANCE
Take sonic, and slap some cool colors on him. Preferably something related to your powers. Try making him either a really cool dude, or some type of mysterious badass, or somethign along those lines. Don't worry about making the colors too bright or two dark. Any colors will do.
Next, give him some cool spikes in his hair to give him a distinctive appearance that makes him your character, and not another sonic ripoff. Throw some clothes on too if you want by recoloring the arms and legs. Don't let anyone tell you that you're another ripoff. Those people are haters and should be banned, report them immediately. Heaven forbid anyone should ask you to put effort or hard work into making a character.
STEP 3: STORY
The character either has a DARK AND MYSTERIOUS past which nobody knows, or a story about how his family got killed, his brother/uncle/half-sister/girlfriend/niece/mother-in-law betrayed him, he became a child prodigy with awesome powers and did what nobody else could do, he has amnesia/split personalities/an evil twin/a dark side, he is the chosen one, he is hunting down *insert bad guy here*, or any combination of the above. Be sure to make sure that he did all of these things before the age of 15. Nobody wants to read a story about someone over the age of 15. Younger heroes make stories more relatable.
If your story is a fanfiction, then make him the best friends of the main characters, and have the plotline revolve around his interesting and mysterious past. Everyone's already seen Sonic do his own thing, rope him into an adventure all about your character.
STEP 4: SUPER FORMS
It is absolutely necessary that he have super forms, otherwise he won't be able to beat enemies that are stronger than him at first. Make it look like your regular form, except with the ability to fly, more hair, and keep the colors closer to what your powers are. Make sure he has several super forms just in case more powerful enemies come along. The more super forms you have, the more powerful and cool a character you have, so make a lot of them.
Be sure to include a cool theme with some of your super forms, like DEMONS or DARKNESS or HOLYPOWER or FUSIONS. Including themes shows that you aren't just saying that he's level 1 2 3 or 4, you're really putting effort into making him original by using one of those ideas I just told you.
Using a super form when your character is losing a battle is really dramatic, because everyone loves seeing an underdog win. Do this as much as possible to keep the audience interested in the fight, and to show that your character isn't a total god mod, and might actually be able to lose. Don't actually have him lose though, that makes him less powerful, and the audience doesn't like it.
STEP 5: DIALOG
You gotta show what an awesome and badass character he is by including REALLY cool lines, like on your favorite TV shows and Anime. Think back to those TV shows you like and take lines that fit your character's cool personality. If you have a favorite videogame with really cool lines, then use that too. Show appreciation to your favorite shows and pay them a cool tribute.
Don't forget jokes! Everyone likes a funny comic! If you hear a good joke, use it in your comic. Don't bother changing it, people will just call you a ripoff, stealing people's jokes and claiming them as your own. Also be sure to use internet memes to show that you're in tune with the crowd and know your memes.
Everything you can possibly say has been said before, so don't worry about accusations from haters that you're an unoriginal hack. They just want to make you feel bad so they can feel good about themselves. Any suggestions they make are just to make your art worse so they won't have people complaining about their bad art. If any haters comment on your work, tell them to go away and report them immediately. Nothing good comes from listening to haters.
STEP 6: PERSONALITY
Your character is an extension of who you are, and who you want to be, so make him exactly like you except with all the cool abilities you have. Be sure to include all the things you like and hate in your character's Bio. By modeling your character off a real person, you can give the character depth and indirectly show how cool of a person you are through your character. Make the character disrespectful of authority and have him get away with things you can't get away with. Live out your fantasies through your character. Make him everything you wish you could be. Reality sucks, everybody knows it, so dive into fiction!
Also, include some foils to his awesomeness to show that not everyone is perfect. Make him lazy, or perverted, or forgetful, or something. Don't make it too disabling or it'll reduce your character's awesome level, but make sure there's something in there.
STEP 7: SUPPORTING CHARACTERS
Every character needs friends! Give him helpful friends with cool abilities that help your character, like the ability to invent weapons for your character to use or being the key to your character's most awesome attack. Have the friend help out in battle a bit, but let the main character save him when he gets in trouble. The main character is the most important, and don't let the audience forget that.
Include a rival too, to show how cool your character is when compared to another one. Make him mean so the audience will know that he's a bad guy, and so they can sympathize with the hero when the hero puts down the rival's attempts to show the hero up. Make the rival swear that he'll beat the hero one day, but never does. This shows that the hero can take on any challenge and never be beaten, emphacising that he is the most awesome character in the story. Be sure to have the rival eventually admit the hero is better, and become his friend, helping him out when he can. It helps add to the hero's likability, and prove it to the audience.
Don't forget a love interest! Make her beautiful and with all the charicteristics you want in a girl. If you have a real life girlfriend or crush then give that character all the same charicteristics. Be sure to play up how sexy she is, or her nice personality, or her beauty. Let people know that she is the most wonderful girl anyone could meet.
STEP 8: VILLIANS
Villians are the bad guys which your character has to defeat. These guys are pure evil, and kill people for no reason. Be sure to have them do a lot of bad stuff to show how evil they are. Don't worry about working out long histories, just have them try to fight the hero. Of course this doesn't mean you should forget their origin. Have them either, be an evil brother/clone/doppleganger/clan member/old friend of the hero or a mysterious evil entity from hell/another universe/beyond time and space/a storybook/legends/the past/the future/an uncharted region of the world/your anus.
Mixing and matching these aspects of the villian help show your originality and creativity. Don't deviate from classic villian types or it'll make him less evil and a danger to the characters. Don't worry about giving them reasons to be evil, some people are just bad.

You can show anything, from daily life silliness, or epic battles. Be sure to detail how DEEP your character is, and what a funny cool fellow they are. No matter what you do, people will like it. Reference your favorite movies and games, along with whatever cool memes you know. Don't worry about real life rules and restrictions, you can do anything in a story!
Be sure to always have your character succeed at everything he does to show how cool he is. Always let him get the best lines and be the winner. Have some people disagree with them so that he can prove them wrong. Remember, he's the most important character, so he should see all the victories.
STEP 10: HOW TO BECOME A GOOD AUTHOR
Now that you have your compelling original character and story, you can create comics and publish them on the internet. There are always going to be haters, so don't worry about reasoning with them. They hate everything. If they harass you too much then tell them to go away. They'll never be as good, creative, and original as you, and they're just trying to make you miserable because they're jealous of your success. Get these annoying cretins banned as soon as possible.
If anyone tries to construtively criticize your work, remember that you are the author and you know best. Don't listen to their attempts to boss you around and tell you what to do. You know your story best, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. After all, they're not you, and don't know what awesome things you've planned.

Ah I see now. Well I'm trying to fix that with my characters now, after who knows long. I'll get that fixed soon, but I don't know when. But at least I'm going to fix it unlike some people who don't. I just got to figure out a way to have the character's story in the same set I had, with getting rid of the 'dead parents or missing parents got revenge' part.. all the rest is perfectly fine except a few paragraphs but it's less 'cliche' than the rest now.
I'm a learn by yourself type so I'd be better off just studying it like I am now, but I do look up references before I draw something unlike most people. I am way better than I was months ago by doing this so I'm going to stick with it. I got female anatomy correct now except certain things but I need to work on men more. But I have an "Anatomy For Artists" book so I should read it more, after I find out where my mother had put it...
I noticed how bad it is. It's because of the internet slang, I still use regular English because some people can't always read it, and it doesn't always make sense when you use the slang anyhow. I'm a grammar freak so I tend to speak such as this, rather than the slang I may use at times. But I can see that problem as I can barely understand what they say on all sites and I have a pet peeve if someone spells something wrong.

I dislike bad grammar myself. It doesn't do anything for anyone. Some acronyms are acceptable, like "lol", "brb", or "gtg", but the rest are only really fit for jokes.
I'd recommend taking a real life drawing class if possible. It's really the best way to learn anatomy, not just reading out of some books.
As far as books go though, here's a collection of Andrew Loomis books that someone forwarded to me a while ago. http://acid.noobgrinder.com/Loomis/ The books are free to use for educational purposes. They're no longer in print but the family doesn't mind their use. These are unofficially the best books for learning anatomy.
